The government is unlocking society in stages and has announced the final stage will come into action on 19th July 2021.

Given the high risk nature if patients requiring dialysis treatment, I would like to inform you that the infection control measures in place within your dialysis clinic will continue beyond the 19th July.

This is because of the concerns about Covid variants, the fact that not all patients are vaccinated, and the vulnerability of people with renal failure to Covid infection.

Therefore, the stringent infection control measures in your Diaverum clinic will remain in place until it is safe to relax them.

Our staff will continue to work hard to implement these special measures.

Thank you very much for doing your part to help with this, and I want to appeal for your ongoing adherence to the rules.

Specifically, please ensure that you:
  Wear a face mask while travelling to and from the clinic, and while in the clinic.
  Comply with the social distancing rules.
  Carry out strict hand hygiene.
  Provide full and honest information during the triage process.

Thank you very much for your understanding and active support.

Kind Regards,

Michael Hartnett
